During her 20 year career, Laura has established herself as one of the UK’s most seasoned marketeers and start-up entrepreneurs. As a multi award-winning female founder including ‘Start-Up Entrepreneur of The Year 2022’ and ‘Global Start-Up of The Year 2022 & 2023’, Laura’s work has been recognised by the British Government who have appointed her a UK Export Champion.  This prestigious role sees her promote exporting to other UK businesses through 1:1 working sessions, public speaking and the media. Throughout her career Laura has dedicated herself to mentoring young entrepreneurs and in 2022 launched the 19 Hours Foundation with the mission of providing free, best-in-class career mentoring for young women in the UK. The foundation seeks to circumnavigate prohibitive socio-economic and gender advantages which for too long have been a barrier to obtaining gold standard executive level mentoring for women.

2002-2012

Global Advertising Executive

Laura’s stellar career began in advertising where she rose through the ranks of London’s top advertising agencies BBH & AMV BBDO, shooting some of the decades most famous adverts for global power-players including Audi, British Airways, Diageo and Unilever. Over 10 years Laura’s key accounts drove over £300 million in agency revenue and £12 billion in client profits.

2012-2020

Agency Founder & CEO

 In 2012 aged 30 Laura’s entrepreneurial journey began when she set up her own agency TLA & was famously credited for pioneering Influencer Marketing, helping develop the space into the multi billion sales channel it is today.  TLA’s who’s who client list includes Ralph Lauren, Jaguar Land Rover, Coca-Cola, Balmain, Breitling, Procter & Gamble & L’Oreal.

 The agency rose to such prominence that in 2015 it was subject of a prime-time BBC documentary attracting 7 million viewers which propelled Laura’s media career & saw her take on more television work, namely as Channel 4’s resident marketing expert on consumers shows including Dispatches.

2020 - Onwards

Award-Winning Brand Founder

In 2020, Laura spotted another gap in the market – this time for a luxurious women’s sportswear brand with a focus on sustainability. The venture was a critical and commercial success which saw her crowned Start Up Entrepreneur of The Year and in 2022, Global Start Up of The Year in 2022 & 2023 and appointed UK Export Champion by the British Government in 2022.

Mentor & Investor

Throughout her career Laura has been a passionate advocate for mentorship and launched the not-for-profit 19 Hours Foundation in 2022 which offers pro-bono career mentoring for young women aged 25-35 based in the UK. Each year Laura personally mentors ten young entrepreneurs helping these brilliant founders achieve success and building the next generation of British business excellence.
